Hi! My name is Eric Weichselbaumer owner and president of Avalanche Landscape Design. I would like to tell you a little about myself and our company, I am proud to be working in the Landscape industry, from the moment I started to now it is truly amazing to see how Landscaping can still change the way that we enjoy our homes and our surroundings and bring color and definition to our properties.
Starting out as a laborer for my dad in Long Island, NY building houses, framing walls, climbing ladders, mixing concrete, and carrying brick. I soon realized that when I grew up, the only place that I wanted to be was outdoors. After graduating college ( Merrimack College) I decided to play a few years of professional hockey ( USA Olympic Team ) and then soon after decided to start plowing snow in the Winter of 00'. That spring Avalanche Landscape Design was discovered.
Our company provides custom landscape designs, walkways, patios, trees, drainage systems, retaining walls, new lawns and landscape lighting to the areas of Western Mass. and Northern CT. Avalanche Landscape Design is a fully insured landscape company which carries workers compensation and liability for both residential and commercial applications. We are also certified installers of retaining walls and pavers by the NCMA (National Concrete Masonry Association) and continue to keep up with training and seminars so that we are able to meet and comply with today's industries standards.
